Tottenham set to be dealt a further blow on their New Stadium

Tottenham have been warned that their new stadium might not be completed until March of next year.

The new ground was supposed to be in full functional order by now but the project has been beset by niggling problems with the construction and the opening has repeatedly been delayed.

The latest opening date was thought to have been the visit of Manchester United on January 13, but reports on Saturday suggest the building companies involved consider the north London derby clash with Arsenal on March 2 a more realistic target.

Spurs have confirmed that their next six home games will take place at Wembley up to and including the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 29.
