Kroos medical report released

Real Madrid published a medical report on midfielder Toni Kroos, who apparently picked up a groin injury this past Sunday during the home match against Real Sociedad.

Following tests carried out on our player Toni Kroos today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a grade 2 tear of the adductor muscle in his left leg. His recovery will be monitored.

Kroos will most likely need at least two weeks to recover from this injury. As always, Real Madrid’s coaching staff should be careful with muscle injuries like this one and that probably means that Dani Ceballos will get a chance to start in Kroos’ spot for the next few games.

Kroos is expected to miss Real Madrid’s games against Betis and Sevilla this month, two matches which could prove to be difficult for Los Blancos, who are already in a tough spot after their past two games
